New Pattern: JERN Pullover

I have a new pattern out this week with the wonderful people at Woolfolk! All photos are by Woolfolk.

JERN is a casual dropped shoulder pullover with 1×1 ribbed edges and half-fisherman’s rib as the main pattern. Half-fisherman’s rib is easy to work and so tidy!

The front and back hems are worked flat, then joined for the body to be worked in the round. Sleeves are worked mostly in the round as well, and seamed into the armholes. The funnel neck is picked up and worked last.

LUFT is an amazing yarn – everyone I showed it to really loved it. It’s an organic cotton chain, filled with light as air merino wool. So even though it knits up at a chunky gauge, it isn’t as heavy (or warm) as you would expect! The colours are classic with a bit of an edge thanks to the difference in shades between the cotton and wool.
